Many people are unfamiliar with chlorinated polyethylene, and as the name suggests, most people should only be able to see that it is a chemical material. It has a process called extrusion molding, which is still quite important in the production process. So today, what should we pay attention to during the extrusion molding process of this product? Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride
1. In the raw material formula for forming pipes, attention should be paid to the selection of stabilizers and other processing aids, with the main focus on enhancing the improvement of melt fluidity and enhancing the thermal stability of the raw materials. If necessary, the formula materials can be mixed first, and small samples can be taken for testing. If there is no obvious discoloration or decomposition phenomenon in the 230 ℃ supply box for 2 hours, it indicates that the selection of auxiliary materials is more reasonable.
2. The extrusion molding process temperature of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride materials is slightly higher than that of PVC pipes. But it should be noted that the temperature control fluctuation cannot exceed ± 5 ℃.
3. During the production of CPVC pipes, if there is a power outage, equipment malfunction, signs of melting material decomposition, or smoke emitted from the mold mouth, the supply of materials to the machine barrel should be immediately stopped. PVC resin should be used to remove the CPVC melting material from the machine barrel and mold, and then the machine should be stopped to troubleshoot.
4. Before the resin is put into production, it must be dried and treated in an 80 ℃ supply box for 2-4 hours. If necessary, the high-speed mixed raw materials should also be sieved through a 40 mesh sieve once, and then put into the extruder hopper for production.
5. The HCl gas released during the decomposition of CPVC melt is harmful to human health, and attention should be paid to ventilation in the production workshop.
6. The extrusion machine barrel, screw, and molten material flowing through the molding mold used for producing CPVC resin must undergo anti-corrosion treatment to extend the service life of equipment parts.
In the actual production process, the extrusion molding process of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride is still quite difficult. Of course, it is important to choose the appropriate product when using it in certain situations, and we need to carefully consider the dosage of the product to facilitate more effective utilization.
