This exhibition opened all the exhibition halls of the Shanghai New International Expo Center, with a total exhibition area of 200,000 square meters. On-site exhibitors come from 27 countries and regions around the world, with about 2,400 companies. The environmental protection sub-track has entered the era of specialization and refinement
At the exhibition site, experts attending the “2024 China Environmental Technology Conference Summit Forum” said that at present, whether in developed countries or China, the traditional environmental protection industry track is heading towards a period of stability or demand saturation. The new demands and new formats generated by the new economy are still being cultivated, developed and grown, which directly prompted the environmental protection sub-industry track to begin to develop towards a professional and refined track, and new technologies in different sub-segments are emerging in an endless stream. This year’s Environmental Expo also set up a special Start-ups exhibition area to showcase relevant new technologies in multiple fields such as carbon emission calculation, environmental protection smart platform, new pollution control materials, decentralized sewage treatment, river management, and resource recycling. The environmental protection industry is shifting from competing for large tracks to deepening small tracks, and the driving force of the industry is shifting from policy and investment driven to market and technology driven.
